Note: The PoC Request Page is not accessible to Partners; therefore, PoC requests must be submitted by an OpenText field employee on their behalf.
PoC Lifecycle at a Glance
- PoC request is raised with a active sales opportunity and reviewed.
- Technical & Commercial approvals are completed
- PoC is provisioned for up to 3 months
- Renewal or expiry is managed automatically

PoC Compliance
To align with OpenText Legal requirements and strengthen data‑protection practices, all Single Tenant Proofs of Concept (PoCs) now require a signed Customer Test Agreement prior to environment access. This measure is designed to mitigate risk and prevent the inadvertent use of sensitive or regulated data within demo environments.
Multi‑tenant SaaS demonstrations remain unaffected and do not require an agreement.
Under the updated process, Account Executives are responsible for presenting the agreement to the customer, securing the necessary signatures, and returning the completed document. Solution Consultants will initiate the PoC request within the Demo Service Portal, upload the signed agreement, and confirm acceptance of all terms before submission.
